Another gift that keeps on giving - the incredible Ilhan Omar!
She really believes that the American people should pay off her college loans. Incredible.
If ever there was somebody I could really dislike and not feel guilty about disliking, Ilhan Omar is probably #1. I find it incredible that somebody of her ilk could come to this country and be so incredibly destructive to all of the values that America has stood for over the years. Perhaps that motto on the Statue of Liberty should have been amended before she arrived at our shores with her own personal brand of anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism.
Multiple stories and rumors abound about the alleged fraud of her entry into our country- who she is, who she is married to and their true relationship- It will take more investigations and investigators and much higher positions than I occupy to sort this all out. One thing is perfectly clear, however. Ilhan Omar cares nothing about American values. She is simply gaming the system.
Today a very interesting letter surfaced regarding her college loans that she appears to be trying to avoid paying off despite a salary of $168,000/year as a representative in the United States Congress. Forget about the stories of manipulation of populations to get them all to move to her district in Minnesota so that she could accumulate enough votes to get elected. The fact that she is a Muslim was never important to me. I have many acquaintances who are Muslim, and I have no qualms about our friendships. They are hard-working folks who have emigrated to our shores because they see us as the land of opportunity. We live together, we laugh together, and we enjoy the opportunities presented by the American way of life.
Congresswoman Omar has turned her position in government into a platform and podium of hate, division, and in my estimate, unAmerican activities. Here is a person who has benefited from the American system which offers financial assistance for study and she considers herself above the law and above the meaning of a contract. No, a student loan is precisely that and it comes with a supposition and an obligation to repay what one borrows according to the dictates of law. But what does Omar care about the law? Do you suspect that she might interpret our law in her own way so that it benefits what she considers important? This apparently seems to be the case.

Can anybody truly disagree that it is time for Congress to investigate this abuse of power, garnish her salary until the loan is paid off, even possibly remove her from Congress- none of these would hurt the American people whom she supposedly represents. Let’s hope for the best and for Congress to act accordingly because this travesty has been in office for far too long. It’s time for the wheels of justice to begin turning in the right direction. Congress has investigated many for much lesser crimes. Perhaps her time has come to be on the receiving end of justice.
